As you can tell the first photo is pre laser hair removal. my shaving regime used to be twice a day as by mid afternoon I would start to look like Desperate Dan  from the Beano comics I used to get as a Christmas present 

Even the razor I used was a specially ordered in razor to get the closet possible shave which cost me the better part of Two hundred Dollars 

And I had to sharpen the blade with a special 

tool even then I would get the odd cut from this lethal weapon 

The photo of me dressed is that one photo that made me decide that in-spite of having huge hands and feet I might be able to transition and not look like the "trucker in a frock" I sometimes felt I looked like . and it was this photo alone that sealed my decision to finally stop thinking about it but to take a leap and move to Melbourne and begin living life 

I began preparing for hormone therapy in early July of 2009

By taking small amounts  of Cyproterone Acetate 

(Cyproterone is a very powerful and effective testosterone blocker which effectively leaves you chemically castrated , and it has been known to be used on sex offenders. and If you can tolerate the possible side effects it can be far more effective than Spirolactone ) 

My dose started at 12.25mg (1/4 tablet) a day to lower my testosterone levels As each fortnight went by I added another 25mg 

Until eventually I was up to 50mg where now that I knew my system could handle Cyproterone I doubled my dosage too 100mg . where I stayed at that level for two months 

at this time I was also using herbal treatments of saw Palmetto and effective DHT blocker to reduce hair loss and prostate size and A whole smorgasbord of elixirs and Phyto-Oestrogens 

It wasn't until the 17th of February of 2010 after having allowed time for the Phyto-Oestrogens to leave my body  ,that I had my first injection of real Oestrogen .

I had googled and you-tubed as much as possible to make sure I knew how to do it right 

no sooner than I had finished the injection I started to feel every sensation in my body , increased heart rate and a stronger pulse and a nervous feeling all over . 

I wondered for a few minutes if I had done it wrong 

It was then that I realised I had done everything right and all it was was me being hyper aware of every function in my body 

With my first inject out of the way I restlessly ticked down the days till I could have my next injection 

This one however did not go quite so smoothly .

I actually managed to hit first a nerve then a minor blood vessel and then two more nerves , One my fifth try I finally got it right and into muscle

the above photo was taken when I had to go back to Adelaide for a shopfitting job I had just got back from a hair appointment 

At this time my regime was 

one 5mg   Finesteride  tablet a day 

one 50mg Cyproterone tablet a day

and an injection of Oestradiol 

I still manage to occasionally hit a nerve 

but at least i was more relaxed about it 

So what changes have happened to date 

So far there have been no remarkable changes  physically other than smaller testes
However I have been feeling more at peace.  
I have noticed a marked odour change , sweeter underarm odour as opposed the male musky smell  
And my skin does feel a little softer I have always tried to look after my skin so this must be from the hormones

Yet another injection 

I started this one in to my left thigh a jabbed a nerve so into the right leg it goes

I'm Certainly less nervous .and more sure that i am hitting the right spot 

Still feel I should be injecting deeper as I am only using a  1 inch / 25mm needle

Have been feeling impatient to have the next injection even though i know it will be of little use
And I have already noticed my nipples increasing in sensitivity . I knew i would respond more rapidly  I did on herbals

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens with my body

I have noticed the white patches in my palms again , my cholesterol is high but I cant remember if they are new or not ,I have to keep an eye on it 

I'm not sure but I think my hair is starting to grow out already . It might just be wishful thinking
And it doesn't seem to get as oily as it used to

No really noticeable changes 

  I still don't like what I see in the mirror

  although at least my tram tracks don't

  look as bad

So this chart tells me I have increased in my bust size YAY
And an ever so subtle change in the size of my feet

Yet another injection

Physically I have noticed just little changes
But emotionally they are huge , I cry for what i have lost in time , i really should have begun so many years ago .but its okay
I have found that my literacy skills have improved a lot and I seem to like witting to people for a change .I like it
I really feel like I'm starting to make some progress






Physically I have noticed little little changes . But I was never prepared for the emotional changes I would be experiencing I seem to get very emotional and find myself crying for no real reason 

I like this side effect a lot i can feel and express my self much better now part hormones yes and partly that I finally feel free to express the emotions I would normally bottle up

I've dropped the Finesteride  from my regime . And added Microgest  in its place 

It helps the mammary duct tissue to develop it also really handy to take at night as it makes me fall asleep within halve an hour , not something you want to take if you have a long drive ahead of you

As you can see I have gained a little more in the bust area 

also my hips and thighs are a little wider 

And to top it all of both my hands and feet are noticeably smaller

Just got my results back from my second test this one included a complete hormone panel 

and my Doctor had no idea what any of it meant

My test results are in Red and the reference range in Blue  indicate the correct ranges for a female 

Total testosterone  (nanograms per deciliter or nano-moles per liter) 0.7 nmol/L

6 – 86 ng/dl ( 0.21 – 2.98 nmol/L




SHBG (nanomoles per liter) 58 nmol/L	Follicular phase	24 – 200 nmol/L
	Luteal phase	48 – 185 nmol/L




Free testosterone - (picrograms per milliliter or pico-moles per liter) 9 pmol/L

20 – 40 yr

0.6 – 3.1 pg/ml ( 20.8 – 107.5 pmol/L)




Prolactin (nanograms per milliliter) 19.2 ug/L  ( i can't remember the conversion for this)but if its 0.533 it means im about 40ng/ml i think  or 8	Premenopausal	2 – 20 ng/ml

There was a break between me taking notes and updating my journal 

And some of the things I do have in my journal are more observations on various changes 

So please forgive me in advance if any of them offend you 

I've been slack about adding my injections .

So far I am up to date with  them ,no problems to report at all

I had lowered  my Cyproterone from 100mg to 25mg and I noticed my semen was again a  sticky and white  with a slight slight smell .

And underarms and feet started to smell again

Have since gone up to 50mg a day and its clear semen and sweet sweat again has returned 

I do seem to be getting a lot of  body orgasms a lot more . Definitely a most enjoyable side effect especially when all I have to do is open my mind to them 

At the moment I am injecting around 75 to 80 mg a month it is double the recommended starting dose ,but I am not just starting and to be honest I feel terrific ,the only side effect that I don't like is typing errors and more recently it has been noticed that I suffer a mild form of dyslexia when it comes to numbers either written or spoken

I haven't measured myself in a long while but it is certainly becoming  obvious to all around that I am developing breasts 

and it does get a few comments lately at work even when I work in boi mode but they are a fun group of people And I have yet to be offended by anything they say 

I in fact even join in with the joke if it its appropriate 

There is still an awefull lot more that I have to add to this but I though I would leave it here for now with a couple of more recent photos to show you where I am now
